We’re just finishing a 10 day stay here and don’t want to go home!
This is a very clean, well-maintained, up-to-date villa with its own pool. It is a few roads back from the beach and the private beach club, access to which is included for guests, and away from the busy coast road but still only a short walk from the beach and supermarket.
There is a parking space if you want to use a rental car to explore the island, but there are plenty of bars, restaurants etc. within easy walking distance.
There is a well-tended garden and all the amenities you would expect including fast Wi-fi, TV, Air-conditioning, washing machine and drier. There are three decent sized bedrooms, so perfect for families - probably the best rental in this area and highly recommended.
Stayed for the second time in Cherry House from 24.2 to 6.3.2020 with 3 girlfriends and had a brilliant holiday. The villa has all the comfort and amenities you could wish for and is in a great location near to the best restaurants, beaches and shops.
The terraced area is fantastic with modern furniture and great for those who love sitting out at night and listening to music which can be played through the speakers. The pool area is also great. It’s just the perfect place! I love it!
Michael, the owner, makes the booking process easy and is happy to help in any way with questions you may have. Mandy the Manager is there to meet you when you arrive and will help with any queries or questions about your stay. The housekeeper, gardener and pool man all help keep this villa in tip top shape.
Thank you once again, we will be back!
Five of us stayed in this fabulous villa in the Worthing area of Barbados. We have stayed in this location before, but this property was far better than our previous villa. We were met on arrival by Mandy who gave us a quick tour and some useful information. I also had her phone number and email address and throughout our 2 week stay, if we had any questions, it was so easy to get in touch with her.
We could not have asked for a better house. There are two spacious double bedrooms and a third decent size room with twin beds. There is a large open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen but apart from preparing our drinks in the kitchen, most of the time we spent on the veranda overlooking the pool. It was such a lovely peaceful place to chill out. The pool was nice and clean and great for having a swim when the heat got too much.
We were regularly visited by the local wildlife which included green parrots, friendly lizards and sometimes the monkeys would play on the wall near the pool. There is also a lime tree in the garden so we had fresh limes for our rum and cokes and gin and tonics.
If you can drag yourself away from the house then it is about a 10/15-minute walk to the local beach and nearby boardwalk. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the area and St Lawrence Gap is nearby which offers even more choice.
Carlisle Bay is a great place to snorkel. There is a wreck there that you can swim out to and we saw some large turtles and sting rays. We also spent a day at the horse races as the race track wasn't far away. It's also easy to get a bus to Oistins - a must on a Friday night. We had an amazing time and would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone.
We had the most wonderful holiday staying at this beautiful villa in Worthing. Its location is handy for the beaches, supermarkets and eating out. You could walk to the nearest beaches, but we tended to use our car to drive to our favourite places.
The villa is extremely well equipped for self-catering. We have stayed in other villas on the island, but Julielm House is by far the best we've stayed in. The villa is very clean and well maintained by all the staff. We went with friends and usually we have to decide whose turn it is to have the master bedroom. Not here. Both double bedrooms have large king size beds and en-suite bathrooms and are equally as nice.
The gas barbecue was brilliant! We found it so relaxing to barbecue and sit outside on the spacious veranda in the evening, listening to the tree frogs. The kitchen has everything you need. We even made our own key lime pie using limes from the tree in the garden! (Delicious.)
Having our own pool was a real bonus. We loved sitting around it and swimming to cool off. We also enjoyed all the wildlife (apart from the mosquitos which are unavoidable in the Caribbean). We were lucky enough to see a family of green monkeys one breakfast time, we also saw humming birds, parrots and one evening fireflies! We are definitely coming back!
Thank you, Michael and staff, for being so helpful and friendly and making us feel so welcome. We really did feel this was a home from home.
